Mullingar Athletic AFC are delighted to announce that Dave Maher former first team player and assistant manager and coach to the senior men’s team last season has been appointed Head Coach to the senior men’s team. Pre- season training continues as normal on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm. We wish Dave & the squad the best of luck for the coming year.

Due to the continuing successful pre-season preparations and the number of players returning to the club we are delighted to announce the formation of a second senior men’s team. The second team will be coached by Aidan Boyle & Michael O`Grady (Doc). Aidan & Doc will continue to work closely with Dave Maher & Kevin Dunleavy (First team coaches) for the new season. The second team will also play in the Leinster Senior League. A number of pre-season friendlies have already been played against tough opposition and these games also saw the introduction of some U18 players from last season making their debut for both the first & second teams. Training continues on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7.30pm in Gainstown and both new and returning players are welcome to attend.
